Website privacy notice
This notice covers the getoctui.com prelaunch website and Early Access signup, not the future Octui mobile app. The app is still being developed, and its own privacy policy will be published before release.
Information you choose to share
When you join Octui Early Access, we collect the name and email address you enter. We use that information to register your interest, personalize communications, send a welcome email, and share occasional development updates, testing opportunities, and launch announcements.
We also maintain signup-related information such as subscriber tags and email preferences so we can manage the Early Access list and respect unsubscribe requests. Signing up does not give us access to your phone, photo library, or personal photographs.
How your signup is handled
Our website sends your signup information to Drip, the email marketing service we use to manage Octui subscribers and send messages. Drip stores your contact information in the Octui account and may process email delivery and engagement information, such as whether an email is opened or a link is clicked, as part of its email service. You can learn more in Drip's privacy policy.
Our website also sends an internal signup notification containing the name and email address you submitted to an Octui inbox. The form does not create a separate signup database on the website server.
Existing Milestone Slideshows subscribers
To understand whether Early Access subscribers have an existing relationship with Milestone Slideshows, our signup system checks the submitted email address against a separate Milestone Slideshows Drip account. If there is a match, we may add an identifying tag to your Octui subscriber record, including whether you were on the Milestone mailing list before Octui's early access rollout or are identified as a Milestone customer.
Signing up for Octui does not change your existing Milestone Slideshows subscriber record or email preferences. We do not automatically add Milestone's mailing list to Octui.
Website operation
The Early Access form uses server-side PHP to submit your information. The site's hosting provider may maintain standard access and security logs, which can include technical information such as IP addresses. The signup form does not require advertising cookies or access to your photos.
Your choices
Octui email updates are optional. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in our emails. You can also contact sign-up@getoctui.com to ask about, correct, or request deletion of the personal information associated with your Early Access signup. We may retain limited information when needed to honor an unsubscribe request or satisfy applicable obligations.
Unsubscribing from Octui updates does not automatically unsubscribe you from any separate Milestone Slideshows emails you receive.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website and Early Access program evolve. The date above shows when it was last revised.
